 The Assembly aims to:

 ¡P       Create a conducing environment for EAFAE members to discuss strategies and action plans to be implemented in the next Assembly. 

¡P       Raise awareness of the issues pertaining to the dynamics of participation, facilitation of adult learning and provision of lifelong learning on the theme for the EAFAE Assembly 2003

¡P       Provide a platform for members of EAFAE to share their research findings on issues pertaining to lifelong learning.

¡P       Allow both local/ international and EAFAE participants to acquire a comparative perspective on the challenges facing lifelong learners.

¡P       Raise concerns on the impact of lifelong learning on the older learners and other marginalised adults  

TARGET PARTICIPANTS

Lifelong learning is integrative and inclusive. The conference will appeal to  

-           EAFAE Members

-           Practitioners and researchers who are keen to look at the best practices in promoting lifelong learning

-           Participants who wish to present their case studies on successful lifelong learning initiatives

-           Private providers who want to learn from the experiences of their counterparts

-           Members of professional associations and public, private and civic organisations.  interested in the development of adult education in East Asia .  

Conference Details  

Participants will pay US $100 to cover twin-sharing accommodation and meals
