Therefore, the conceptual framework of this General Assembly is :

* To know each other well among East Asian adult educators

* To understand the background, the current issue and the near future
of the ageing-society in our area

* To achieve the properous life of old people from the viewpoints of
health, communication, learning, cultural and sport activities and
social participation

* To share and evaluate concrete educational activities, programs and
directions for the future development

* To evaluate the Asian identities for developing our own practices and
theories and for contributing the development of lifelong learning in
Asian South Pacific and in the whole world

* To evaluate the activities in the past two years and to plan the
programs and executive committee for the coming two years
